Location, Location, Location
Membership in most alumnae associations within Alpha Sigma Tau is determined by location. For example, an alumna living in Arkansas may join alumnae associations in Southeastern Arkansas, Southwestern Arkansas, or Conway, depending on whichever is closest to home.
No Alumnae Association Nearby?
Establish an alumnae association! There are several types available based on the size and activity of your local group of sisters, so get started today.Contact the Alumnae and Volunteer Services Coordinator if you need a list of alumnae in the area. Sisters who live in areas that are 50 miles or more from the nearest alumnae association and that are dues paying alumnae are invited to join the Anchor Chapter.
The Emerald Chapter
The Emerald Chapter is an honorary alumnae chapter composed of alumnae members who have served a minimum of four years, consecutively or non-consecutively, in one or more National positions on the National Council, Volunteer Personnel, or as Chapter Advisor. Alumnae who have attended a minimum of five National Conventions are also invited to join. All Emerald Chapter members must be current with the payment of National alumnae dues for the applicable fiscal year by June 1.
Stars and Stripes
The Stars and Stripes Alumnae Group connects alumnae who have a common bond of military service and community. Sisters who belong to Stars and Stripes are active, reserve, guard, and retired military members as well as families and close friends of members of the military.
