Stars and Stripes Alumnae invites alumnae sisters who have a common bond of military service and community. Sisters who belong to Stars and Stripes are active, reserve, guard and retired military members as well as family members and close friends of military.

Philanthropic Efforts of the Stars and Stripes

• Organized The Snowflake Project, a holiday gift drive for deployed members of the military
• Sponsored military units deployed in hostile areas around the world
• Sponsored a greeting card drive so soldiers could write home to their loved ones
• Sponsored coupon-cutting drive for military families overseas where there are no newspaper coupons
• Assisted with the sponsorship of a Wounded Warrior Room in Wiesbaden, Germany
• Collected phone cards for Fisher Houses (similar to Ronald McDonald Houses except specifically for military family members)
