Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority requires each candidate for membership to have a 2.5/4.0 cumulative GPA to become a new member of the Sorority or, if she is a freshman, to have graduated in the upper third of her graduating class. In addition, each member must maintain a cumulative 2.5/4.0 GPA in order to remain in good standing.

Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority believes in the importance of education and offers a number of scholarships and grants to qualified members.
