2010 NIC/NPC Congressional Visits

Greek Student Leader, Bayley Lesperance, Psi, met with Senators and Congressmen/women at Greek Day on Capitol Hill.
Bayley Leserance was one of 400 student and alumni/ae leaders who visited with 430 US Leaders in Washington on April 21, 2010. The purpose of the visit was to educate Congressional leaders and seek co-sponsorship for the Collegiate Housing Infrastructure Act and the College Fire Prevention Act. Both bills would help Greek housing, the largest non-profit landlords in the US outside of host institutions, to provide safer, more cost-effective housing for non-profit student organizations with housing. For more information visit the Capitol Fraternal Caucus website or Facebook site.
Most importantly, ask your Congressman/woman and Senators to support CHIA and CFPA.
