Headquarters Staff Continues to Grow!
The Sorority is excited to announce the newest additions and some changes to the Headquarters Staff team in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As announced at Alpha Sigma Tau’s 38th National Convention in June, Allison Bressler became the Sorority’s first Alumnae & Volunteer Services Coordinator. Allison was initiated into the Alpha Tau Chapter at Edinboro University and served as Vice President, Philanthropy Chair, Parliamentarian and Junior Panhellenic Delegate. Allison earned both her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences and master’s degree in student personnel services at Edinboro University. As an alumna Allison served her chapter as the Chapter Advisor, Recruitment Advisor and Chapter Consultant. Allison joined the Headquarters Staff after most recently serving professionally as the Assistant Director of Student Involvement for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Ohio Wesleyan University. She will be working to fulfill the strategic objectives of the Sorority related to alumnae member engagement and volunteer development.
This week Holly Morris accepted the position of Collegiate Services Coordinator. Holly is a member of Chi Omega and has served as a chapter advisor for the last 12 years in the areas of new member education, alumnae relations, and recruitment. She has also served as alumnae chapter president and a delegate to the Indianapolis Alumnae Panhellenic. Holly graduated from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, having earned a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. After graduation she served as a sales representative for Emerson Process Management. Most recently she was the Business Operations Coordinator at the National Panhellenic Conference office. Holly will supervise the Sorority’s five Educational Consultants, work directly with Collegiate-Alumnae Advisory Boards, campus Fraternity/Sorority Advisors and serve as a general resource for chapter management related issues.
Christina Silas has been serving Alpha Sigma Tau as Administrative Assistant. The Sorority is happy to announce that Christina will be pursuing a graduate degree in social work this fall at Indiana University. She will remain on the Headquarters Staff as she transitions into a part-time position as Database Administrator. Christina will maintain the Sorority’s new Patriot Database and work to integrate the technology solutions through the soon-to-be-released Officer Portal.
Jennifer Gray joins the Headquarters Staff as the new Administrative Assistant. Jennifer has extensive experience in Patriot Database and has previously worked in a non-profit setting. Jennifer will serve as daily support staff to the Headquarters Team and be most members’ first point of contact when calling in for assistance.
“The Headquarters Team is coming together after many months of thorough candidate interviews. I look forward to increased services and support for our collegians, alumnae and host institutions,” said Jim Paponetti, Executive Director.
