Hawaii Service Immersion Trip
New Extended Deadline! Get your completed application in by September 30 for consideration!
Greetings from Alpha Sigma Tau -
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The Leadership Institute – Women with Purpose for a service immersion trip to Hawaii.
Details
Participants will spend seven nights and eight days on the island of Oahu at YMCA Camp Erdman. You will have the chance to stay in a cabin on the beach, participate in one of the world’s only double-decker ropes course – the Odyssey, spend four days doing service on the island, and learn from the women of The Leadership Institute by participating in new curriculum called Project Impact. You will soak in the sun and the culture of this beautiful island while serving.
We chose this adventure for you for several reasons. The Hawaiian Islands offer an opportunity to travel to a different world, all without a passport. The community of Hawaii is an incredible mix of people and Hawaiians represent the best of so many worlds. They make decision based on the impact those decisions will have for the next seven generations, and to top it off it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Any collegiate member of Alpha Sigma Tau who is interested and who is ready to learn and grow will have the opportunity to apply for a spot on this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Price and dates
The registration price is $999 plus travel. You are responsible for making your own plane reservations to Oahu, Hawaii after if you are offered a spot on this trip.
