Interfraternity Organizations

National Panhellenic Conference member badgesNational Panhellenic Conference

The National Panhellenic Conference is an organization composed of women’s Greek-letter fraternities. Each of the member groups is an autonomous social organization of college women, undergraduates and alumnae.  he National Panhellenic Conference was established to assist collegiate and alumnae chapters of the member groups, to cooperate with colleges and universities and foster interfraternal relationships.

Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority is one of 26 sororities and women's fraternities in the National Panhellenic Conference.

Local Panhellenic councils are formed to help govern Greek activities at colleges where two or more Panhellenic sororities are chartered. Alumnae Panhellenic councils also exist to represent the fraternal values of each organization in the community.

Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA)

The Association of Fraternity Advisors exists to support and stimulate persons who advise fraternities and sororities in higher education and to enhance the positive influence of the fraternity and sorority experience in student development by providing definition and recognition for the profession, encouraging research, establishing networks among related interests and creating forums for interaction and learning.

Fraternity Communications Association (FCA)

The Fraternity Communications Association, an organization of sorority and fraternity editors, promotes high standards in fraternity journalism and communications. Membership is composed of all Greek-letter sororities, fraternities, honor, and professional groups.

Executive Directors Association (EDA)

The Executive Directors Association is composed of the office executives of the member groups of the National Panhellenic Conference and provides a channel for the exchange of ideas and information pertinent to all Executive Directors fostering interfraternity cooperation.

Fraternity Executives Association (FEA)

The Fraternity Executives Association is an organization composed of the chief administrative officers of the fraternities in the North-American Interfraternity Conference and National Panhellenic Conference. Its purpose is to promote, support, and encourage the free discussion and exchange of ideas relating to college fraternal organizations.

National Panhellenic Editors Conference (NPEC)

The National Panhellenic Editors Conference is composed of editors of the magazines of National Panhellenic Conference organizations. NPEC meets biennially to exchange information and ideas to foster Greek journalism.
